Why should you slow down and follow the posted speeds?
Here is what can happen when this young, presumably drunk driver goes thru a 60km construction zone at speeds up to 140km using any lane, open or closed, any shoulder or ditch nearly hitting at least 10 of our employees at those speeds. Like within feet!
Endangering every other driver on the road. Running right thru our cones and tapers. Hitting the ditch twice and crossing the median and heading onto oncoming traffic eventually smashing into three other innocent people driving. He ended up upside down in a ditch.
We pray for the families he crashed into and hope they weren't injured badly.

I was incredibly honoured and proud to meet and congratulate our first group of Heavy Equipment Operator graduates.
These 5 individuals excelled throughout the course as they continued to challenge themselves to do better. They will be valued employees of our industry and will only make us better.
If you're looking for operators contact the SHCA office and we will connect you.

Did you know many of our members do great work in rural municipalities, helping improve critical infrastructure for the Ag. sector? In fact, the SHCA began by building the road network for many SK RM's. #saskheavy
It's that time of year again folks! Our crews will be on the road (literally) building SK highways again this spring/summer! SLOW DOWN in the work zones and stay safe!! #wemovetheearth #conezone #staysafe #saskheavy
