Shutter Island turns 1 year old today 🎂❤️
I’m a wee bit emo about this because this song was a demo that I wrote and produced in like 2 hours in my tiny bedroom in LA. I was encouraged to just release it after not releasing music for almost 2 years. I was in a depressive slump and I didn’t want to release any of my own music because I truly didn’t think anybody would care to hear it. I really couldn’t see myself as an artist. Now one year later this little song has injected so much hope and joy for music into my life and I want to make music forever and ever. Thanks so much for listening to my songs🥲
