I’ll be honest. I had a shitty last year and this year haven’t been much better so far…
The time we live in, the fast paste, everything that’s happening in the world, the economy and on top of that; everything surrounding us it’s just a struggle sometimes.
Still, there’s a certain confidence in truly knowing what you’re doing. As an interior stylist and scenographer, I trust my eye, my instinct, and my craft.
It’s not about trends or made up rules, it lives in the body, in the hands, in my head, and in experience.
It’s hard to define, but you can feel it.
Not everyone can do this, and that’s okay.
You can learn a lot, but that sharp intuition and understanding, ability to read the client and a brand you work with comes from something deeper.
I know what I bring to the table and I stand by it.
Not out of arrogance, but out of respect for my profession and the work behind it.
Sometimes you just have to pause, give yourself credit and remind yourself: you’ve got this.
