At the start of January, AFS @austinfilm announced the 21 recipients of the 2024 AFS Grant for Short Films, awarding funds to 19 projects across Texas! Since 1996, the AFS Grant has supported over 540 filmmakers with $2.7 million in funding, empowering exceptional emerging artists from a state often overlooked by the film industry.

The Making of “Organizized”!
Like any other Production, our shoot had its own challenges and hiccups. Complex camera movements in a tiny apartment we shot put us behind the schedules but as they say- creativity comes out best with restrictions, we were able to find creative solutions that worked in our favor.It was a late-night shoot, as you can tell from our tired and restless faces. But the energy from the set kept us moving.
