Officially hit the 6 month mark from my Achilles repair surgery. It’s been the longest road and still months to go but looking back at where I’ve been and where I am at now has me feeling proud. Thanks for being along for the journey with me.
2025 was one hell of a year. From the literal highs of a glacial peak on Rainier to the lows of relearning how to walk. Exhilarating and humbling. Challenging and rewarding. Grateful to those I have in my life and look forward to carrying the lessons learned into another year.
Today is a big day of feels for me. The first single from @hazeviewofficial “Let Go” is officially live and in the world and marks a new chapter for me musically and creatively.
Tons of hard work has gone into this behind the scenes and I am so excited and humble to put this out there for everyone. It’s been an incredible outlet during this recovery process. So thankful for all of the dudes in the band for letting me share this journey with you.
Massive shoutout to @nickmllr_ for helping me find my voice as a vocalist and pushing us all in the studio as an incredible writer and producer.
Much more to come from the boys and I and I can’t wait to hear what y’all think. 📸 @errolphotos
Slowly but surely making progress in this Achilles recovery for those following along. Wounds are healing up and I’m slowly stretching this thing back out and trying to get the foot back to a neutral position. Also hit a massive personal milestone in trying to build my cardio back up. Huge thank you to @allan_darkstar27 and @vitalitysac for helping with this recovery process. Long long road ahead but we’re moving down it.
Bear with the long text. So I’ve had a bunch of people reaching out asking about why I played seated at the @yungerband show on Friday and why we weren’t able to play at Next Up festival the following day. Just before our set Friday I got accidentally hit in the back of the leg. Perfectly wrong place at the perfectly wrong time. Likely that I tore my Achilles tendon. Appreciate all the support I’ve gotten so far. Looking like a long recovery road ahead but it’s just one more challenge I get to take on. Thanks y’all.
PR for Sumos at 355 for 10 reps. I’ve pulled more on conventual but recently added sumo deadlifts to my routine and it’s challenged me in some fun ways. Feeling leaner, stronger, and more mobile than ever. Thanks to @allan_darkstar27 for always pushing me.
Rolling into my 34th year and feeling more like myself than ever before. I’ve never in my life felt more stimulated and fulfilled creatively and the balance I’ve found has filled me with more passion for experiences than I can possibly express. If you’re reading this, thank you for whatever part you play in my life. I am incredibly thankful for you. 📸 @errolphotos
Climbing Mt. Rainier this weekend was hands down the most challenging, humbling, and exciting things I’ve ever done. We didn’t get a chance to make the summit but it was still an incredible experience and test. A blast of a time with a great group of climbers and guides. On to the next adventure.
So today I hit a milestone I’ve been chasing for about 2+ years. Finally back to my playing weight from my freshman/sophomore year of college football. Set this goal as I am approaching a bucket list trip to summit Mt. Rainier. I couldn’t have done this without @allan_darkstar27 . He’s pushed me mentally and physically to levels I didn’t know I had and I am hands down in the best shape of my life and down about 40 lbs. If anyone in Sacramento is looking for training hit him up. You will absolutely not be disappointed especially at the new and incredibly badass @vitalitysac location.
I don’t post a whole lot about my job but I recently achieved a career milestone and am extraordinarily proud to have been promoted to the rank of Engineer. I couldn’t do this without the support of Britt and my crew at work. “Engineer Sarris was sworn in at last night’s monthly LCFPD Board of directors meeting. Newly promoted Engineer Sarris began his career with LCFPD in 2020 as an EMS Paramedic. He was the first to complete the fire district’s in house firefighter certification process. Once he promoted to the Fire Division he immediately became a leader to his crew and an invaluable asset to the department. Engineer Sarris is also a licensed Paramedic, Certified Rope Rescue Technician, EMS Intern Liason, and member of the county wide Large Animal Rescue Team. Congratulations Engineer Sarris we are proud to have you on our team 🎉.”
