Introducing our line up for Saturday May 16th featuring @sarinvx
Sarin is the electronic music & multimedia performance project of Emad Dabiri, based in Berlin.
His sound can be described as a blend of abrasive drum programming & brutally minimal bass lines paired with dystopian cut-up style sampling of media detritus, invoking spirits of militant body techno fetishists of before, while also balanced out by his precise methods of classic grooves and melodies.
He has released over a dozen vinyls & cassettes since 2014 and under his multiple collaborative projects since transitioning from a purely audio/video art background. 🔮
His new 12” full-length “SEARCHING HELL” marks his first release in six years and his most uncompromising output since the project’s inception.
SARIN has spent the last years sharpening his teeth on numerous collaborations as well as countless remixes, evolving and elevating his sound to new harsh realms. “SEARCHING HELL” is a nine track cybernetic joyride into oblivion featuring his distinct militant drum work, heat-seeking bass lines and surgically interlaced sampling, augmented by deceptively serene atmospheric pads & bloodied vocals.
Other releases have formerly spanned across labels such as Aufnahme + Wiedergabe, X-IMG, B.F.E. Records, Veleno Viola, Khemia Records, and Total Black. 🦇
Sarin is also part of the collaborative projects Nostromo, General Dynamics, Human Performance Lab and also the founder of the X-IMG cassette and a/v platform. 👊🔩

This collaborative track is dedicated to our compatriots in Iran who are facing immense hardships at the moment ranging from the repressive regime, a near total internet/communications blackout and an ongoing war.
All proceeds for this track for the next week will be forwarded to the not for profit Hengaw Organization for Human rights.

This track is dedicated to my compatriots in Iran who continue to show incredible strength & courage in their pursuit of freedom & dignity despite a near total communications blackout, the continued oppression of the regime & the war.
All proceeds from today’s Bandcamp Friday, and thru the weekend, will be forwarded to Hengaw Organization, a non-profit focused on documenting, reporting and raising the human rights standards in Iran.

This regime’s corruption, oppression & mismanagement gave my parents no choice but to give up their own familiar lives in their homeland so I could have a brighter future in Canada. I haven’t seen my birthplace since I was 6. My hopes & dreams of one day returning to Iran lie with the continued bravery of my compatriots back home who are fighting for their dignity & future, and paying for it with their blood out of desperation.
Please don’t believe the dictatorship’s talking points. They are cold blooded killers who will say & do anything to stay in power and experts at exploiting divisions in the west. They have spent nearly half a century perfecting their manipulation & brutality. The dictatorship occupying Iran is not interested in defending anyone except themselves. Everything else they claim to stand for is a lie to obfuscate their intentions & maintain their grip on power at the expense of the population they claim to represent. The numbers keep rising as more information trickles out of Iran but likely over 40,000 were killed during the massacre instigated by the regime in the first weeks of January. They shut down the internet to try to hide this horrific crime. This barbaric regime has hunted down protesters being treated in hospitals to finish them off, arrested doctors & surgeons who have treated protesters in hospitals & are subjecting detainees to torture & rape. This regime has brought in mercenaries from surrounding countries to continue the violent oppression of the Iranian people, as even their local thugs began ignoring their violent orders. This is not a regime that can be thought of as a “defender” of anything or anyone, or of any religion, but as a purely fanatical & rabid entity that has lost any grip on reality & is desperately clawing & lashing out for its own deranged survival. This regime is nothing more than a new incarnation of groups like the khmer rouge. There is no alternative but democracy for Iran. Thanks for reading this & for keeping Iranian protesters in your thoughts.

General Dynamics + Special Guest: Spit Mask
GENERAL DYNAMICS is the collaborative project of recording artists SARIN + QUAL who have so far released two well received LPs of technoid industrial body music with their “Weaponize Your Dreams”album, released in late 2022, as well as their recent “Where Animals Play” album, released mid-2025. They have previously performed at acclaimed European festivals such as Wave-Gotik-Treffen, Grauzone & Grey Scale with their raw and energized live performance and will return to the stage this January with a string of shows in Munich, Berlin & Warsaw, performing a mix of both albums as well as unreleased material.
