✨7 months DJ progress update
Since starting…
1. I’ve had about 30 gigs and have played at 13 venues
2. I’ve played my first ever B3B earlier this month
3. I’ve been getting more comfortable with live mixing vs. planning a full on set
4. Still saying yes for any opportunity to play, which included having the opportunity to play a few songs on the Air Stage @elementsfestival last minute! Thank you Golden Pony for the invite! 🥹
Things to improve on:
1. Balance social events with DJ events
2. Understand what every single effect does to a song
3. Learn another software so I can splice my songs together when I record. Thank you to all 10 of you who told me to up my game😅
Really happy I found this new hobby because I’ve gotten to meet so many cool people along to way.🥹 Hope to meet more of you! Much love 🫶

✨The last one is the most important.
People often ask me why I DJ when I already have a full time job and my answer is, “why not?” No one has ever asked me why I doctor when I’m DJing 😂
It can be challenging when both schedules are at full force, but DJing is fully integrated into my life now and I’m not looking back. One of the things I learned about DJing is that there’s always something to work on. Hence, I’m excited to continue to put myself out there and to contintue to grow.
