While the steady string note in the track might to some listeners be reminiscent of Jay Dee’s late-90s phase, the warm and hazy jazz samples evoke the feeling of the 2010s beat scene. The piano harmonies are as rich and thought-provoking as the sax lines are comforting. This track has lots of emotional depths to it, but at the same time it’s so laid-back, it’s basically lying on the floor. „Akai Yoru“ (Japanese for „Red Night“) was created in the tranquility of the night and early morning hours. Producer Sarent wanted to create a cozy, peaceful space by drawing heavily from the warm, analog textures of Lofi Hiphop. The five tracks form sort of a steady stream of consciousness, they blend into each other seamlessly, while still each maintaining singular qualities and moods that make them all stand out against each other.
