Amir Temur’s bday video + vid for tourists
Uzbekistan celebrates him every 9th of April, and I decided to make a short little video. Now obviously it’s history and there’s a lot of nuances and maybe some inconsistencies spread throughout (in general, this applies to all historical figures tbh). I think Amir Temur, like any past and equivalent conqueror or emperor, did a wide range of things that can be perceived in so many perspectives and so many different conclusions, history is after all, messy and very complicated. But this doesn’t necessarily mean we can’t celebrate the good the emperors and rulers of the past left us, in a way, this is a deeply nuanced topic, and felt like explaining it in the captions, because the video is to some extent simplified.
Other than that, I really enjoyed the process of making this video, it serves as a practice at filming and all its stages, including the very long hours it takes to do stuff like this. It’s a good exercise:)
Lately life been really busy with University and now work, so I will not promise consistency YET. Big things await.
Thanks for my close friend coming to help me out too, sacrificing his chance to make a video for himself, which I really appreciate, and will compensate for his help! — it was a learning experience for him too, for sure! Thanks to my rodnoy bro for lending his camera as always. I was also sick, still very sick tbh but I pushed through anyways.

if you want a nation of readers, start from the book cover and quality.
I ALSO do NOT mean my designs are superior, its subjective, but still you can clearly see the laziness in designers when it comes to book cover designs.
It took my like an hour to come up with my design, imagine IMAGINE how amazing the quality of the designs would be if the designers spent not ONE hour but five, and ALSO GOT PAID, AND PUBLISHED.
