Sarah Jennings (@sarahjscribbles ) has been illustrating children’s books since graduating in 2013.
She has worked on a variety of projects and her previous clients include Orion, Harper Collins, Hachette and Simon and Schuster. At a young age she discovered a love of drawing and has been scribbling and sketching ever since. Sarah enjoys combining traditional and digital techniques to create her illustrations and particularly loves designing characters. She lives in London and works from her home studio in the company of her two very naughty black cats!

Sharing some of my initial character sketches for Witchicorn 🦄
✏️It was a super fun challenge to blend both witch and unicorn together and find a balance between spooky/sparkly! I spent awhile working out how Witchicorn would wear her witch outfit without it hiding all her unicorn features. I jumped a lot between traditional and digital drawing so I could roughly drop in some colour and try things out! 🌈🎨🖌️
