One of the best parts of MAGiCon the last few years is watching this beautiful human grow. This year, she was indispensable. From taking incredible photos (I'll share soon), to working our Mystic Tower Table, to face painting at the festival, to being a constant smiling, helpful presence, every moment gave me such joy.
Here's to next year, when she says she's running the whole thing (but hiring @danharlanmagic to be the emcee)! 💖

I think the most amazing feat of the entire weekend was that somehow I managed to be at work by 7am yesterday! ðŸ˜
Got off at three. Got home and took a shower. Was in bed by 5, asleep by 5:30. Around 7pm, @danharlanmagic woke me up for pizza (which I had been craving since everyone else at MAGiCon ate pizza on Friday night). Harlan had driven to Hungry Howie's because their gf pizza is my favorite and they are too far from our house for delivery. Best husband ever.
Ate pizza and right back to sleep! 🤣

I haven't quite found words yet for yesterday. MAGiCon2026 was just... Wow.
A picture is worth a thousand words so here's the equivalent of 9,000 words that hopefully at least somewhat convery how incredible yesterday was.
The weekend is not quite over yet. Today we have our @raleighmagicclub Family Fling, and after that I'll be back with more photos and hopefully an adequate way to express the incredible joy and appreciation in my heart.

Often when @danharlanmagic lectures,magicians feel compelled to fall to their knees before him in awe and reverence. Or maybe it was the intimidating knife (slide 2)...
Nah. Harlan is just a messy lecturer and the photo of him also helping pick up the cards he threw willy nilly all over the floor wasn't nearly as funny.
In all seriousness, it is incredible to see my brilliant husband regaining his shine. Today he delivered a lecture that was 80% new material (2 things even I had never seen before), and it was amazing! So happy to spend this life by his side. 💖
