🇺🇸 Who would have thought London had so many options for a wine nerd like me? In any neighborhood, amid vintage markets, traditional pubs, old phone booths, and souvenir shops, you can stumble upon wine shops with incredible selections, eclectic wine bars, French-style bistros, or urban wineries that produce their own wine by growing or purchasing grapes from the English countryside or other European countries.
Here’s a quick guide for anyone who wants to explore London through the lens of wine. A region that, from being a global import powerhouse, is slowly but surely becoming an established producer as well.

we miss Beaujolais Nouveau and frankly celebrating Beaujolais shouldn’t be confined to once a year anyway. Beaujolais is liiiffeee!
for this reason, we will be keeping our doors open next Sunday evening 29th March after brunch, putting on some great tunes and serving a range of incredible Beaujolais (aka the OG chilled red) to sip at ludicrous prices alongside Lyonnaise snacks from Chef Frank. Service by @sarahcwright and me! We’ll also be putting a gorgeous Lyonnaise accent on our weekly set lunch throughout the week of 23/3.
Weekday Set Lunch: Weds-Fri 12.00-14.30
Sunday Beaujolais Apéro :4-7pm - walk in only
See you there 🍷💃🏼🍷
Pinot Précoce all picked and en route to the winery for destemming and settling in for fermentation this evening--beautiful fruit from a challenging vintage!
The cat's out of the bag...
Introducing 'Kaos' and 'Pirate,' our 2023 wines--a Col Fondo Pinot Gris and still Pinot Noir Précoce, both harvested in West Sussex and made in Fulham by @mdwrigh2 and me under the endlessly patient tutelage of @hurley_al and adorned with two lovely women's ink--@vhelenes and @crazyauntanna --as their respective labels.
Thank you to all the amazing assistants we've had over the last year, bringing these bottles into existence. You know who you are, and I'm so grateful that I can say this would not have happened without you. ❤️
