Earlier this week marked an exciting milestone for the Lightbridge Centre, Performing Arts & Wellbeing Centre at @kildarecollegeofficial , with the official sod turn taking place alongside the College and project partners.
The future-focused facility will bring together performing arts, wellbeing and flexible learning environments — supporting creativity, connection and holistic student development as part of Kildare College’s long-term campus vision.
The new centre will rise on the site where the College’s original Hall, built in 1966, once proudly stood — continuing the evolution of the campus while honouring an important part of the school’s history and community connection.
We’re proud to be partnering with the College to bring this important project to life and look forward to seeing construction progress in the months ahead.

Over the past 12 months, a group of our people have completed Sarah Constructions’ inaugural Contracts Administration Competency Program — a structured pathway designed to strengthen commercial capability and support the next generation of Contracts Administrators.
Aligned to the competency framework of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the program combined practical learning, mentoring and real-world application across key areas including contract administration, procurement, commercial management, risk and negotiation.
Most importantly, the program reflects our commitment to continuous learning and raising the standard of commercial capability within our industry.

From Cadet to Construction Coordinator — Alistair’s journey has been built on curiosity, consistency, and getting stuck in.
He joined Sarah while completing a Double Degree in Civil Engineering and Finance (Honours), looking for real, hands-on experience. What started as a 12-month cadetship quickly turned into a place in our Graduate Program — and the start of something bigger.
Since then, he’s worked across a range of projects, building his understanding of how things come together on site and the role strong relationships play along the way.
A big part of that growth? Backing himself, stepping outside his comfort zone, and asking questions.
Now stepping into his role as Construction Coordinator, it’s a well-earned next step — with plenty more ahead.

This future-focused facility responds to rapid growth across northern Adelaide — delivering high-quality, year-round infrastructure to support local clubs, grassroots participation and community connection.

We’re proud to be delivering 14 modular homes for The Cottage Homes Inc — providing affordable, independent living for older South Australians on the Fleurieu Peninsula.
Designed by John Byleveld Architects, the homes respond to the local landscape and will be built offsite, then transported into place — improving efficiency, reducing waste, and minimising disruption.
We’ll also be engaging local trades, supporting the southern Fleurieu throughout delivery.
Construction commencing soon, with residents expected by Christmas 2026.
A meaningful project, built on strong partnerships and shared purpose.

We’re proud to embrace innovative construction methods and share knowledge, expertise and lessons learned across our sites and teams.
Through our Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Program, the South Australian Housing Trust (SAHT) Seaton site team hosted a site tour, giving the wider business the opportunity to learn more about the benefits, and the installation process of BubbleDeck technology.
A reinforced concrete slab system that replaces non-structural concrete with recycled plastic voids, BubbleDeck is delivered to site in prefabricated panels supporting improved efficiency - and on this project, the team is currently achieving a 10-day cycle from forming to completion per level.
As the first Sarah project to implement this system, the five-story housing development will deliver 22 modern apartments, with undercroft carparking and communal areas.

We recently caught up with Anakha, who’s progressed from our 2025 Graduate Program into a Construction Coordinator role – a journey shaped by curiosity and stepping outside her comfort zone.
Originally from India, Anakha moved to Adelaide to complete her master’s in construction management, knowing that showing up and being proactive would be key. Through @@nawic_sa Women in STEM Mentoring program, she found the confidence to back herself.
Drawn to Sarah through our presence across Adelaide, it was the culture that stood out most:

𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐑–12 𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭.
This is a project we’ve shared a lot over the past year — but seeing it come together like this is something else.
Set in the APY Lands, more than 1,250km from Adelaide, this wasn’t just about building a school — it was about finding a smarter way to deliver it.
Through our modular approach, 44 modules were manufactured to 95% completion in our Adelaide facility — fully fitted out with structure, services, joinery and finishes — before making the journey north.
And what a journey it was. Over 174,000km travelled back and forth.
Remote roads. Unsealed conditions. Careful planning at every step.
On site, it all came together with minimal disruption to the existing school — with installation, connections and commissioning forming the final piece of the puzzle.
By running factory and site works in parallel, the team delivered a 1,315m² contemporary education facility in just nine months — in one of the most remote parts of Australia.
Supporting a community of around 260 people and 58 students, this is a project we’re incredibly proud of — not just for what it is, but how it was delivered.
Because projects like this remind us of something;

Yaitya Ngutu Wardli | Project Update
We’re proud to be delivering the Aboriginal Knowledges Centre at @adelaideuni 's City West campus, with completion anticipated in late 2026.
First envisioned through UniSA’s 2018 Reconciliation Action Plan, this project has been shaped through an extensive co-design process with Aboriginal students, staff and Elders — ensuring the space is grounded in Country, culture and community.
More than a building — this is a place for coming together, for conversation, and for knowledge sharing.
We look forward to sharing more of this journey as the project progresses.

This project will see the revitalisation of a much-loved local landmark, transforming the historic venue into a contemporary, market-leading sports bar and entertainment destination — while respecting its 140-𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐜𝐲.
The redevelopment will be delivered through a carefully staged approach and includes a new two-storey hotel, large-scale sports bar, function and event spaces, and enhanced dining and hospitality offerings.
We’re looking forward to working alongside the project team to bring long-term value to patrons, the local community and the wider Glynde precinct.
