I have chills just writing this…
There are no coincidences.
When I was 16 in high school, my dad handed me cassette tapes by @drwaynedyer called “How to Be a No-Limit Person.” I started listening that day and never stopped. He spoke about the power of your thoughts, and his stories and wisdom changed the trajectory of my life.
I decided to include his impact on my life in my commencement speech at @floridastateuniversity . Shortly after the speech, I received the copy of a text from Wayne Dyer’s grandson who had been in the audience. I burst into tears. Of course he was. It was the closest I could get to Wayne Dyer being there with me that day. For his grandson and father (Wayne’s son), it was the sign they needed that Wayne was with them on this very special day. His grandson, Tysen, graduated later that day at 2 PM. He just happened to be at my speech because his girlfriend was graduating at that time and he wanted to be there to support her… and because there are no coincidences.
The universe is truly divine in all her glory. 💫

Florida State University awarded an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters to alumna and Spanx founder @SaraBlakely during spring commencement Friday, recognizing a career built on instinct, persistence and a willingness to do things differently.
When Blakely took the stage, she didn’t dwell on success. She talked about failure, self-doubt and the decision that shaped everything that came next.
“The most critical thing that I did — the thing that everyone here can do — is I made one big investment early on,” she told the graduates. “I invested in me.”
