Currently in the midst of spring, we’re taking a moment to look back on our recent release by Annebel. With ‘Exploiting The Situation’, the Tilburg-based artist crafted a range of exploratory sounds and bass-flavored rhythms that pull you deep into unfamiliar territory. We’ve been truly moved by the support this release has received, and we want to thank everyone who listened, shared, and danced to it. Annebel - Exploiting The Situation EP [SO010] ¬ Digital pre-order link in bio / Out March 4 Sann Odea is back! We proudly welcome @_annebel___ to the label with her debut EP, ‘Exploiting The Situation’. Following her debut track on Martyn’s 3024 compilation, Annebel deepened her sound and delivered four experimental club tracks that are rich in texture and heavy in the bass department. To top it off, Sann Odea’s familiar Beatrice M. flips the opening track, ‘Yavegard’, into a minimal roller, creating a striking contrast with the fuller original. The tracks were written while researching the work of British philosopher Mark Fisher who infamously stated that no new music has been made since the 2000s. But instead of mourning the future, Annebel explores different conceptions of newness by using various sample techniques like granular synthesis and stretching field recordings, letting past, present and future collide. Tomorrow, we’re back with another Sann Odea Syncs show on Echobox Radio, and it’s set to be a special one. We’ve invited our friend, eurovisione, for a unique semi-live hybrid set 🎛️ The Italian-born artist is known for his ambient and drone compositions, crafted from field recordings that he transforms into immersive soundscapes. Tomorrow, he’ll bring a fresh set inspired by the artwork of @brettclouser , which he selected to accompany the mix 💫 After releasing several tapes on the LA-based Jungle Gym Records, the Amsterdam-based artist launched his own experimental label @tippytoes_recs in 2024 to create his own platform. Let’s rewind to the last Sann Odea Syncs show at Echobox Radio, featuring an unforgettable set by mul/ANNA! Her selection of leftfield club and breakbeats blew us away with its musicality. Inspired by @brettclouser ‘s artwork, her set was rich with synths and melodic layers. It was truly an atmospheric journey and a refreshing switch from the darker, rawer styles we love. We invited jmoy for the next episode of Sann Odea Syncs at Echobox Radio in anticipation of his debut release ‘Udys’ next week! The artwork by @brettclouser he chose to accompany his set gained his attention because of the contrast between outside and inside spaces, a feature and a quality that connects with his background in architecture and interest in spatial design. jmoy will record his set tomorrow live at the studio of @echoboxradio from 16:00 - 17:00 and bring an array of leftfield electronic club music which he describes as ‘somewhere between very fast and very calm’.
