“Am I reading this right?” was my initial reaction upon receiving the email from Taiwan, stating all three of my selected finalist works, across two categories won Distinction Awards. Up until my arrival in Taipei, I still genuinely thought they were being polite calling every finalist a winner and invited everyone to join-whilst mentioning all the selected works. As truth be told, I never submitted any identity work to any award before.
Then I found myself sitting at a roundtable in the hall, next to @mabu.hide , and it finally sank in. Maybe—just maybe—this was real.
From confusion to reflection, the question quickly shifted to
“What did I do right?”
Ecstatic, honored, grateful, humbled, and still in disbelief — all the emotions arriving at once, louder than any words I can assemble.

Ecstatic and delighted to receive Golden Bee Award Incentive Diploma Award for the work “Lost and Found” at the Golden Bee 15 Moscow Global Biennale of Graphic Design 2022.
In fall ‘22, we were notified that 4 of our works were selected for the whole biennale exhibitions and tour, including a work for @habitusconcept.official 2020 and 2 works for @foldforearth from 2021. Exhibition started from August 29 2022 in Chelyabinsk and ended in Apr 30 2023 in Moscow. Ultimately, 1 of the 4 got the award. We never sought to find out which one bc we will discover it eventually from the book. Still waiting for the book to arrive at my door step but meanwhile, here are some fractions of the digital version of the book.

What happens when “RIP justice” feels unbelievably weak and no longer feels sufficient? When a system becomes too diseased and rotten to reform itself? When bureaucracy feeding oligarchy feeding public cynicism feeding apathy feeding more corruption? When greed overpowers common sense and empathy? At some point, the question is no longer whether a system is failing. The question is how long people can survive treating collapse as normal.

FFJ short film festival is back with vol. 2 this labor day long weekend. Raw, amateurish, unfiltered and cringe for sure. Because it’s never been about perfection, but a celebration of the joy of creating.

Forty years of destruction. This is Chernobyl nuclear reactor from the inside.
Inside Chernobyl: RBMK reactor core, Unit 4—reduced to grid, expossing a paradox of extreme order containing an uncontrollable catastrophe.
Apr 26 1986 - Apr 26 2026. What have we learned?
After a couple of times, I didn’t exactly intend to create another Chernobyl posters. That’s what I thought until the world unravelled in 2026 with escalating war & conflict. The intention of commemorating suddenly shifted into a far more important, relevant and current urge. How the accidental human error unfolds into human intent. 1986 saw a failure of control. Forty years later is about control as weapon. The system remains—only the intent has changed.

Letatlin 140 celebrates 140 years of Vladimir Tatlin—founder and architect of The Russian Constructivism and a radical voice of the Russian avant-garde.
Built through a pen-sketch typographic language, the composition moves from raw form to abstraction—channeling the unstable geometry of his magnum opus, the Tatlin Tower (1919–20). Structure mutates into mark, and the tower reappears not as object, but as tension.
Letatlin 140. Golden Bee 17, Moscow Global Biennale of Graphic Design 2026 Special Nomination.

Just the usual graphic designer’s obsession with books and how they’re being displayed.
And just like that… a bucketlist checked.

Borders as Physical and Psychological Entities
This work approaches borders not as fixed lines, but as systems that migrate from space into perception. It proposes that borders do not require walls once they are internalized.
Constructed through a multi-layered composition of dual skulls, the image operates between anatomy and cognition, where bone becomes structure and the mind becomes territory. Drawing from the visual language of X-ray imaging, the work stages a collision of anatomy, industry, and thought. It does not merely illustrate the concept of borders, but rather performs the message:
A border begins as a line and ends as a habit.
It exists twice: once in space, once in the mind.
The hardest borders are the ones you carry.
