Join Jon, owner of Roots and Rivers, for a hands-on terrarium workshop where you’ll learn how to build your own mini ecosystem from start to finish. He’ll guide you through each layer and its purpose so you leave with a beautiful, low-maintenance terrarium to take home. All materials are included and no experience is needed, making this perfect for beginners. This class is suitable for ages 5 and up. Participants under 14 must be supervised. Guests are welcome to bring their own beverages, but everything must be packed out, as Sandy Hook is a carry-in, carry-out park. A portion of every ticket supports the Sandy Hook Foundation, helping preserve and protect this incredible national park.

We have already started to drop videos in our latest Haunted History series, which was filmed partly at the Spermaceti Cove Lifesaving Station, making this the first building on historic Sandy Hook to ever have a paranormal investigation conducted inside. ⬇️ This is an incredible moment for us, and we are grateful to the Sandy Hook Foundation and Sandy Hook Young Professionals for making this possible. As of right now, we are looking at an eight-part series, most of which will delve into creepy history. Depending on what we find in our evidence, we will also be including footage from our investigation. A sneak peak with some SB-7 responses is featured at the end of this video. Be on the lookout for new episodes which will drop over the next few weeks, posted to Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. Sandy Hook Foundation is proud to present: Colonel Tye Fighting for Freedom. This immersive experience uses Apple Vision Pro headsets to bring to life the story of Colonel Tye, an enslaved man who escaped during the Revolutionary War and joined the British forces at their base at Sandy Hook in exchange for his freedom. This experience challenges you to consider what it means to fight for freedom. Join us for the opening weekend at Monmouth County Historical Association's Taylor-Bulter House in Middletown during Weekend at Old Monmouth. Saturday, May 2, 10am-5pm Sunday, May 3, 12-5pm The exhibit will be open every weekend through July 25th from 1-4pm on a first-come, first-served basis. It will be closed July 4-5.
