Borrowed Time have returned with their new release “Withered,” now available on all streaming platforms.
The track brings a strong djent-driven metalcore sound, with heavy grooves, distorted vocals, and an aggressive edge from start to finish. “Withered” continues the band’s intense and technical style while leaning into a darker atmosphere overall.
The band also made a lasting impression earlier this year with their performance at Sandstorm Metal Festival 3 in February — a set that still resonates across the Dubai metal scene months later.

Wake Up Karma have released their new single “Trophy,” a modern alt-metal track built around heavy low-tuned riffs, with groovy yet electronic elements, and emotionally raw lyrics.
Written almost like a twisted thank you letter, the song touches on emotional numbness and the strange feeling of finally starting to feel something again — only to realise that pain can hit just as hard as emptiness.
The Dubai-based band have been steadily active in the local heavy music scene, regularly performing across the city and building a strong presence through their live shows. Most recently, they were part of the Wacken Open Air warm-up party hosted by Sandstorm Music Company, bringing their sound to one of the region’s major gatherings for metal fans.

Sangham return with their new single “Our Vain Pleasure,” a hard-hitting track that shines a light on the subject of animal exploitation and the violence often hidden behind everyday consumption habits. Through a personal and emotional approach, the song challenges listeners to confront uncomfortable truths and their own inner conflict.
Founded in Marseille in 2020 by Cyril Lhuillier and Christelle Meunier, Sangham mix modern metal, djent, progressive metal, and death metal into a sound that moves between melodic atmosphere and crushing heaviness. Following the release of their debut album Intangible in 2021 through KLONOSPHERE and distributed by Season of Mist, the band have continued to build their identity around music with both emotional depth and social meaning.
The name “Sangham,” taken from Sanskrit, represents a meeting point or confluence — reflecting the band’s message of transformation, awareness, and reconnecting with both ourselves and the world around us.

Drop Dead, Gorgeous have released their latest single, “Cyanide,” continuing their return with another emotional and heavy track following “GHOSTS.” Frontman Danny Stillman described the song as a dark love story about being attached to someone toxic and difficult to walk away from.
Originally emerging in the mid-2000s, the Denver band became known for their emotional take on post-hardcore. Their 2006 debut album In Vogue helped shape the sound of the era with a mix of synths, breakdowns, and raw lyricism. Later releases including Worse Than a Fairy Tale and The Hot N’ Heavy further cemented their influence on the scene.
The band were also praised by VICE for helping shape a style of post-hardcore that many bands later followed, particularly through their focus on emotional vulnerability over the more typical aggressive sound of the genre.

Motionless In White have announced their seventh studio album, Decades, set for release on July 17 via Roadrunner Records. The powerhouse band from Scranton, Pennsylvania, have spent over 20 years building their sound across metal, hardcore, goth, industrial, and electronic influences. The lineup includes Chris Motionless on vocals, Ricky Olson and Ryan Sitkowski on guitars, Vinny Mauro on drums, and Justin Morrow on bass. Over time, they’ve grown from their early days in the Rust Belt music scene into a major live act playing arenas.
Decades continues their signature style while also pushing into new territory across its tracklist. Alongside the announcement, the band has released a lyric video for their new single “Playing God,” which features guest vocals from Corey Taylor. The track highlights a heavier, more aggressive side of the album and marks a key collaboration on the release.

Mimi Barks shares the video for her new track Jericho, the latest release from upcoming EP Dreamstate of Fear, out July 24. The release arrives alongside her U.S. tour with Little Miss Nasty, which is currently underway.
She explains that “Jericho” explores the idea of collapse as something freeing rather than destructive. In her view, what feels like breaking down is actually a release from things that no longer belong, allowing space for change and renewal. She reflects on inner transformation as a shift that happens when a person turns inward, lets go of old versions of the self, and steps into something unknown where real freedom begins.
