Show me a better char. There isn’t one. And I’m not talking about crappy similar versions with obscure patinas, repainted frames and mediocre cushions. May I get so lucky, one day. Robert Mallet-Stevens I adore you.
A stunning valet by my dearest Paul Dupré-Lafon, circa 1935 for Hermès. This particular example was commissioned by Henrique Mindlin, a wonderful Brazilian Jewish architect (whom I didn’t know about before I had the pleasure of purchasing this work for a client). I will adore Bill Sofield for endless reasons, but indisputably the introduction (20 years ago already!) and continuous referencing of PDL’s work being one of the most important ones. Merci @scenersgallery , and loved meeting you and learning so much about this gorgeous little beauty my client will be enjoying for years to come. #sandraweingort
I love this house so much. Is one even supposed to talk about one’s work this way, or one should be more humble? But what if the love is actually so genuine that one can’t help but scream it out loud? I love this house so much!!! @batesmasi built this paradise I get to call a project. @awgartadvisory inspired so much of it. I love this house so much!

If I had to choose a single shot of my work that moves me to my core, it would be this one. When geometry flows in a collection of vintage furniture and art in the way that it does here, I feel very proud.

One of the sexiest chairs ever made, by the avant-garde genius that was Maria Pergay, c. 1970. A certified vintage set of 12 is being sold privately, ask me where. Photograph courtesy of Jousse Enterprise.
West Village, New York City. Interior cues borrowed from the most beautiful neighborhood in Manhattan, if you ask me. #sandraweingort
