I danced between art and design for most of my adult life.
Art came with me to every city I lived in, taking different forms depending on how much space, physical, emotional, mental, I had for it at the time.
What’s shifted this year is the consistency and seriousness of the practice. About a month ago I changed my morning routine. Where I used to journal, I now paint, somewhere between 6 and 7am, when the world outside is just waking up. I watch the light change in the studio. I carry a feeling of lightness after.
Two collections, Places and Unmapped, now live on my website. Link in bio.

✨ Feeling super grateful today ✨
I’m honoured to be named a Stevie Awards Honoree for Creative Person of the Year, on the international stage.
This is not just about me. It’s about the clients who invite me into their lives and trust me to create homes that reflect who they are. 🙌🏼
It’s about the mentors who guided me, the colleagues who inspired me, the friends who cheered me on, and my rock (you know who you are) who’s been by my side through it all. 🖤
This recognition is a reminder of why I do what I do: to create spaces that feel aligned, grounded, and uniquely yours.

OF PLACE AND PRESENCE | My practice has always sat at the intersection of art and design, and explored the question of ‘home’. That’s why being part of this event felt perfectly aligned.
When the curation’s thoughtful, the work stops being decorative. It activates a space and gives it character.
I see art and design as two materials answering one question… Design carries parameters, constraints, boundaries, and Art is purer expression. Both are tools that manifest an idea. The line between them blurs in some moments and tightens in others.
Grateful to be part of this alongside so many talented artists. Thank you @artychoke.art and @sobhafurniture

SPOTLIGHT | A teaser of the two works I’m showing this Thursday at ‘Of Place and Presence’, a private evening hosted by @artychoke.art X @sobhafurniture
My practice has always sat at the intersection of art and interiors, and this feels like the perfect context for these pieces.
Watch this space for the afters.

GROUND | A client who loves nature, the cosmos, philosophy and all things beautifully deep. It’s in the tones, the throw, the illustrated world of botanicals sitting on the dresser.
That wall jutting out behind the headboard? Existing condition, couldn’t be changed. So we gave it colour. And art, of course.

FRESH EYES | Part of the process is taking a step back to see things with a fresh pair of eyes.

BLOOM | Pink…was never my go-to. I rebelled against it for the longest time, but this project shifted that. Soft, dusty, tongue-in-cheek and playful. Two beds, two sisters, a room that manages to feel both fun and completely calm.

We are faster, busier, and more productive than ever before.
But interior designer and artist Sandra Fadayel poses an intriguing question few people stop to ask: What is all that productivity costing our creativity?
In this clip, she reflects on why meaningful creative work requires more than discipline or deadlines. It requires space, time to step back, time to let ideas breathe, and time for the work to simmer before it can fully become what it’s meant to be.

A mother navigating divorce wanted one thing above all else: for her young sons’ room in their father’s home to still feel safe, playful, and familiar.
When Sandra Fadayel revealed the finished space, the client burst into tears. For Sandra, that moment became a defining realization that design is not only about beautiful furniture, but about creating spaces that hold people through the most tender parts of their lives.
