Today at Red Rocks, Denver City Council came together to discuss our 2027 budget priorities and the investments needed to keep Denver moving forward. From strengthening core city services and infrastructure to supporting safer neighborhoods and improving quality of life for residents, these conversations help shape the future of our city. Every budget decision reflects our values and our commitment to delivering for Denver communities. Grateful to continue this work alongside my colleagues as we plan for Denver’s future.

What a beautiful day celebrating the grand reopening of La Raza Park. ❤️✨ Seeing community come together in a place filled with so much history, culture, and love was truly special. This park has always been a symbol of resilience, and a home for generations of Northsiders. Thank you to everyone who made this possible and contributed by sharing stories, bringing life into this beloved space, and helping carry its history forward. Here’s to many more memories, celebrations, and sunny days at La Raza Park. 🌿🌞

Don't get caught with a surprise bill! Property owners are responsible for pruning and cleaning up all debris from trees located on private property and within the public right of way adjacent to their property. Residents can visit denvergov.org/forestry for a list of licensed and insured tree care contractors. If emergency removal of a fallen tree or tree branch is needed immediately to clear a street, the city will remove it; the cost of the work will be billed to the responsible property owner. If safe, residents are asked to remove any obstructions to the public street, right of way, and sidewalk Denver’s snow crews are out, and heavy snow can damage trees. Quick tips: • Clear snow only from small, young trees—avoid large branches. • Gently brush snow off with a broom; don’t hit branches. • Watch for falling snow and recheck trees as it piles up. • Property owners must clean up debris from their trees. • Branches (under 4" thick, 4 ft long) can go in compost carts, bundled for Large Item Pickup, or dropped at Cherry Creek Recycling. Stay safe and avoid parking under trees! Find out more at bit.ly/denversnow26

Some Denver residents have received text messages explaining they have a traffic court date because of unpaid fines. The summons looks very real and may give a link or QR code to may a payment. THESE ARE SCAMS. DO NOT SCAN THE QR CODE OR PAY ANY MONEY. Anyone who receives this text can report it to www.StopFraudColorado.gov or call the Denver DA’s Fraud Hotline at 720-913-9179.
