I’m excited to receive news that UNMUTED, a project from @withoutxfilms that I helped DP, will be represented at the @ClintonGlobal Initiative Annual Meeting in NYC this week.
A 2024 Realscreen MIPTV Pick, UNMUTED follows eight survivors on their journeys of reclaiming their agency and the organizations implementing solutions to protect women and girls world-wide.
With interviews led by @marieavgeropoulos@constancewu and @torreydevitto audiences will learn about the complex socio-cultural factors that lead to people becoming victims of gender based violence, including Child Marriage, FGM/C, and Acid Attacks - along with the non-traditional solutions that individuals and non-government organizations are using to protect women and girls.
I’m especially proud that Without Exception Films has continued to push this project through and that it’s finally receiving the recognition it should.
