Three images from Four Hours East, an upcoming risograph zine beautifully printed by Austins @neighborhoodriso Limited Edition of 25 hand made/saddle stitched. After five days in Berlin, visiting places like the Topography of Terror and other historical sites, we boarded a train toward our next destination. During the ride, I couldn’t shake the thought that these tracks may have once carried people toward their final destinations. I picked up my camera to document the passing landscapes, the same views that once existed alongside those journeys. I found myself wondering if anyone back then caught even a fleeting glimpse of this scenery, though it feels unlikely.

First time at the Darty. Never been a big bmx guy but still remember that first mongoose bike with the pegs. Always fun to photograph something new and different from the usual. Try it out sometime. Also prob my last post for a while, as I usually tend to take a social media break at the beginning of the year. If you meed me reach out before then.

Back during sxsw this year I got to hang out with the lads from @storror for a bit during their US Tour showing their new documentary with @michaelbay They hosted a couple of meet and greets/sessions with fans and fellow parkour athletes while in town. During one of these days they were set on doing a challenge where one would use a rope swing to catch the underneath of a pedestrian bridge, climb back up while trying not to plunge to the water below. Here’s a few photos of the couple of days they were in town. For more dope photos check out @doddsfilm the official photographer and filmer of the @storror crew.

About two or three weeks ago now I got to spend a week with amazing people and photographers out in Montana for a workshop by @bryanschutmaat and @strata.editions If you’ve never taken a workshop before I would highly encourage you to take one with Bryan. It was well worth the time and money and came out reenergized to continue working on a project. Montana was beautiful but what made the week special were the attendees of the workshop. Everyone was super talented and very welcoming, from @thewarneraesthetic being the group dad to @wrmattison making people cry of laughter without even trying. Can’t wait to hang out with you all again soon. Here are some of the photos from the time there. Not in the group picture but great meeting as well @declansaintonge @benlockett @heyi______ @christopher.ryan.campbell Give them a follow!

Here’s to the end of racing season. Thanks to @zinosviewfinder for getting me out there to the stock races, something I had always wanted to go and document. From the smell of gas, to the mud slapping you in the face, these high speed clay tracks really do provide an experience like no other. Can’t wait to do it again next year!

Been sitting on these for a moment. But I’ve been making sure I still resonate with the work and making the beast that is IG work for me and not the other way around. Here are some moments from this year’s rodeo season so far, from San Antonio to Cotulla and Poteet Strawberry Festival. Need to get back to covering the action sometime soon. Hope you like the cuteness overload at the end. Also thank you to all the riders that have taken me in and made me feel at home at the competitions. If you’re seeing this, DM where you’ll be competing at next and let’s shoot!

This year marked the final AIDS/LifeCycle. My dad has ridden it for the past 13 years—and this year, I finally joined him. 545 miles. 7 days. San Francisco to Los Angeles. One last time. 30 years ago, our family laid to rest my Tío Gerardo. He was just 33—one of the many lives lost during the height of the HIV/AIDS epidemic in San Francisco. This ride was for him. But it was also for the countless others we’ve lost. And for those still fighting. Since it began, AIDS/LifeCycle has raised over $340 million to fight HIV/AIDS and support those affected by it. But its impact stretches far beyond the numbers. Small communities along the route have felt the love of this movement. Like the Bradley School—a K–12 school of just 80 students. This year alone, in just a few hours, riders raised $120,000 to support it. It’s hard to imagine the ride being over. But this year, I joined to honor a legacy—my dad’s, my uncle’s, and the ride’s itself. From the coast to the hills, every mile told a story. This was our way of saying goodbye More photos of the ride available via link in bio.

Huge thanks to @lamurgaatx and @austinfc for having me at the US open cup vs @houstondynamo to cover the energy of the supporters section. As my first ever austin fc game idk how I could ever sit anywhere else to watch the match. The energy was electric, the music was loud, but the fans even louder, and the water was raining down! Such an amazing first time and the team brought home the win 3-1 to advance to the quarterfinals! Can’t wait to go back.
