Noah hit me a year and a half ago to write and we left that day with a song called Doors. don't know if i've ever met a better writer, blew me away. ended up getting involved on the record from an engineering perspective and co wrote Deny Deny Deny and Paid Time Off. hey there, thought i’d reintroduce myself given we moved to a new town.
i’m sam. i’m married to my lovely wife @abigailwesthoffart . i am a producer, songwriter and mixer. i have an artist project called @haffway_ that i just started releasing under and im having so much fun. i’m from tulsa, OK - recently moved to Nashville and am also loving that. we miss tulsa a ton. sometimes i wanna go back, but only sometimes. i’ve been lucky, very, to work with so many good artists and writers and am continually being put into rooms with artists that are significantly better than me and i’m so damn lucky to be a part of their work (gonna tag a few i’ve cut it up with this year). always humbled when i get trusted by an artist or writer with displaying their work to the world. shit. that’s wild. i love whiskey. i love smoking my pipe. i have a dog named kevin and he’s the undisputed champion of the dog world in the “good hang” category. he rocks.
