The “Vanderpump Organ Donation Challenge”!
My nominations are:
@lisavanderpump@caseyogorman@temp_tation@itsjameskennedy@samjprince@ercan_ram@chuggswallis@williamjwade@aj11ace @ EVERYONE WATCHING THIS help me raise awareness for organ donation and get everyone to register their decision!
It only takes two minutes to register on the NHS Organ Donation Register and that simple action of registering means your loved ones will know your organ donation decision if they ever need to.
Most of us would accept a life-saving organ if we needed one, and from research we know most people in the UK support organ donation but may not have realised the crucial importance of officially registering their decision. By taking part in The Vanderpump Organ Donation Challenge, you will help to raise awareness and the number of registrations.
Only 1 percent of people die in circumstances where organ donation is possible, so every registration is important, indeed, each donor could save up to nine lives, hence the reason for our use of the number 9 through out this challenge.
Instructions:
So, you’ve seen what to do, you can take part with a loved one, a friend, or with your work colleagues! Get ready to take the challenge and remember to try and do it within the 9 seconds or accept your forfeit and tip the remaining smoothie over your head!
1. First - confirm your Organ Donation decision!
Register on the Organ Donor Register or use the NHS Apps in England and Wales
2. Whizz up your smoothie of choice (and if doing with friends, or colleagues make sure to check everyone for allergies, dietary restrictions)

“Made in Chelsea: Sam Vanderpump’s story” audience Question: “how do you not let a diagnosis consume you daily? I’m struggling with that.”
Following on from the documentary we got so many questions and statements in that Alice and I wanted to film a Q&A to answer everything to help further inform and raise awareness!
Thank you everyone for all the support, it honestly means the world to me.
My main hope is for this journey to be worth something, so if we can help in any way spread awareness and raise attention to the need of registering your decision on the organ donation register (which a link in my bio can be found for) then I have done my job!
You can go and watch the full documentary now on catch up with @channel4@e4chelsea@e4grams@nhsorgandonor

So lovely to spend time with @samvanderpump & @alice.vanderpump — and of course their gorgeous baby 💛
It felt especially meaningful to introduce Sam and James. I’d met Sam last year when we were playing Padel, but I hadn’t realised he’d been facing a similar liver condition to James.
Sam is currently exploring his options, including a live donor liver transplant, while also being on the NHS waiting list. It was really important for us to come together, share our experiences, and support one another through this journey.
We’re also hoping to raise awareness and push for change — making live liver donation a more accessible and widely known option here in the UK.
Let’s keep the conversation going, support each other, and help anyone affected by liver disease.

Do they need a liver themselves, or are they donating a part of it?”
