After lengthy preparations, the time has finally come – we are releasing ‘Circles’. Endless thanks to my great band 🫶 Mirko Maio, Samuel Urscheler, Emilio Giovanoli and Romain Ballarini!
Inspired by a residency stay in Iceland, the new music tells stories of elves and trolls. Featuring wonderful vocals by @sibyl.hofstetter 🥰

"Have you seen the elves? ✨
They leave no traces – only fleeting impressions in the moss, a soft whisper in the snowstorm, a barely audible laugh among the birch trees. ‘Elves’ is a musical ode to the hidden, the magical that surrounds us when we are willing to be still and listen.
This piece draws on Icelandic nature mythology and the childlike imagination that is never completely lost. It tells of delicate voices, light footsteps and alert spirits that watch over the natural world – sometimes visible, often only perceptible.
The voice of Sibyl Hofstetter as guest singer blends into the soundscape of ‘Elves’ like another breath – airy, floating and mysterious."

"In the middle of Iceland's rugged expanse, between gusts of wind, glaciers and glowing rock, ‘Troll’ was born – a piece about the raw power of nature, its elemental force and its dignity.
In Iceland, you can feel the earth breathing – moving inexorably, regardless of our plans. Volcanoes erupt, the light never fades, the wind carries stories from the past. And sometimes you get the feeling that something is awakening in the mountains: an ancient creature perhaps, a troll making itself heard. ‘Troll’ thrives on energy, tension and friction – but also on wonder. We allow the music to unfold like nature itself: unpredictable, intense and sometimes breathtakingly beautiful."
