My brother John speaking on running. He passed on from this life this past Saturday, but he'll still be with me, on every run and every moment I'm enjoying the outdoors. I hope to pull up the old video files and make a vertical version for social media at some point.

I met Sam when I was out for a run and I asked him what he was photographing before looking up in a tree to see three little owls. 🦉🦉🦉 We even got to see Mom or Dad stop by! It was a beautiful moment and I’m thankful that Sam had a camera to capture it! Thanks for sharing my excitement @samuel_forsyth !
Did you know that young Great Horned Owls rely on their parents for food for 4-5 months after they leave the nest? During this time, the parents show them how to hunt 🦉

Enjoying a cool weather outing with Trevor. We found Tom turkey in full courtship display for two pretty ladies. We scrambled up the Regency to Royal Arch before heading up Hammerhead, one of my favorite flatiron formations. Then we climbed the underrated rock called "Downclimb," before both failing at Katie's Tomato Rock route. It's a hard one. Nice little jog out to the Hollyberry trailhead.

Deep inversion morning. Wonderful, damp feel on the trails and fresh spring life and earthy air. The Stearns towers and the old Valmont Power Plant looked especially epic in the clouds.
