So far, there's not been any pictures or videos of him on his sick bed. None of him laying helplessly dead in the hospital or in the morgue.
We know this has not always been the case since the emergence of social media. By now his videos and pictures would have circulated; it would have been the major headline. But thankfully, the only videos and pictures we've seen are those of his happy moments.
We've become used to friends and families posting their dead friends and relatives here even in their most vulnerable and unceremonious state. Some don't even bother to cover up the nakedness of the dead before posting.
It's such a blessing that Alex Ekubo was surrounded by friends, family and friends who respected his privacy. Despite the ridiculous conspiracy theories, we can't deny the fact that he died with his dignity intact.
Rest in Peace, Alex Ekubo. You lived a good life in a horrible world.
