Nearly 4000 Dj’s from across the globe entered my competition to play @ministryofsoundclub Next Friday 24th April for next ‘Future Citizens’ event and I’ve wittled it down these selected few..
Not because of followings or stats as some of these guys have healthy followings & some fairly low.. This is done on dj skills & people I looked into & felt deserve this chance / break!
The 1st winner is @djkim_ldn who will be opening the new ‘Box’ arena in Minsitry next Friday.. Congratulations
& I have a Wild Card set which will be chosen from this list & announced on the night…
Plus I’ll also draw 2 of this Dj’s out of the crowd on the night to play b2b with me in the box as the prime slot of the night as well!
It will be insane!! (I’ve not even played in Ministry’s ‘new’ Box yet)

We then got a ‘take down & desist order’ from Warner claiming we cldnt sample their music.. BUT BUT BUT actually nothing in this record is sampled..
The famous melody we recreated and replayed, the vocal was re sang!!!
+ The publishing was allocated to the original writers we wernt even claiming it!
But it had got to number 1 & was starting to fall & who are we to argue it out with big major label Warner..

We have given nearly 40 Dj’s the opportunity at these events so far and some of them now regularly play at Ministry.. Some have used the footage to get good festival shows and even gigs in Ibiza.. & my last winner now has landed his own Ayia Napa residency this summer!
