This act of violence was a misogynist and racist hate crime, period. I’m at a loss for words but in no way surprised at how the media and Biden administration has positioned this tragedy to favor/excuse the white man and diminish the real problem at hand which is white male supremacy.
I am so tired and disgusted by white men who think it is neither racist nor misogynist to fetishize Asian women and then blame them for their own sexual desires. To believe that it is a privilege and compliment to be hyper sexualized by white men is the aftermath of colonization and imperialism speaking for itself..
