Sometimes you give more love than you receive…
and it makes you question yourself.
You give love so naturally
and wonder why it’s not returned the same way.
But what if it’s not about them not giving enough
but about what you learned love has to be?
When you grow up associating love with giving, understanding, holding space
your nervous system starts to feel safe in that role
even if it’s one sided.

The hard part is accepting this
without trying to earn love by giving more or even adapting.
It’s in their interest to learn or to refuse it.
You can not choose for them.
The lesson is not to keep on showing
but to stop giving it to people
who were never able to hold it and don’t see you.
Real self respect is learning
that your love deserves to be met, not chased.
On the days you feel less loved
or not in the right energy
remember… it was never a reflection of your worth.
Never forget how special you are
and how deeply you’re able to love.
This is a gift, no one should take away from you.

One of the biggest reasons I moved abroad was the ocean. The beach always brings me back to the present moment. Watching the waves, feeling the sand beneath my feet – it reminds me that every step I took, even the scary ones, didn’t cost me anything. Instead, they enriched me. It’s always a magical moment, how the water clears my mind – how I suddenly feel free.
Fear is normal when making big decisions, like moving abroad or any other life change. But that doesn’t mean things won’t turn out amazing. The unknown can be intimidating, but it also holds endless possibilities.
So go! Dream big! Make that scary decision. Find out where you feel the best, where you can grow and clear your mind. Don’t be afraid of the journey or the first step. Take it, then the next – and I promise, each one will get easier. There are no wrong decisions! Every choice teaches you something. Just be brave enough to make a change for yourself 🌊
