Last fall we were out eating pizza when “SOS” by ABBA started up over the parlor stereo. Wiley almost immediately was overcome with giddiness. He’d never had that kind of reaction to a song before, and every time we’ve played it for him since it never fails to elicit some kind of spasmodic joygasm from him. I suppose it’s his first favorite song?
Fitting, then, since this past year has followed the rhythms of an ABBA song - in turns silly, beautiful, melodramatic, and dancy. Wouldn’t have it any other way.
Sending love and gratitude out today to our extended family and friends who consistently bring so much joy and positivity into our lives. As always, I love you @caelinwhite , thank you for being the best mom a kid and his dad could have ever dreamed of. I’m so grateful to raise this goober with you.

About five minutes after this first photo was taken, Caelin’s water broke. And just about 24 hours later, at 2:46 pm on March 28th, 2022, our son Wiley White Geer was born. There aren’t words to do this experience justice, so I’ll just say this: I am so awed by and grateful for your strength throughout this entire process, and I am so excited to begin this new journey with you @caelinwhite
