I recently shared with my friends how when I was little, I used to want to try to look and sound more American and I would change the pronunciation of my last name in hopes of sounding more like my gorgeous blue eyed, blonde hair class mates .
My last name is pronounced “Ray-uh”
and it’s so beautiful 🥲
