Underoath last Sunday and Alexisonfire this Sunday - not a bad way to bookend such a big eventful week and even nicer for me and @whatwhitterssaw to leave with all our belongings this time. @aof_official were literally on fire 🔥 and sick to see @birdsinrow supporting too.
Feels really good and rewarding to finally have this @abandcalledheaddent release out there and even better to have a tangible product at the end of it. There’s something really satisfying about holding a physical tape in your hand and knowing the noise on it came from something raw and loud that we put together ourselves.
Appreciate the guys for letting me have a crack at mixing and mastering this and doing the artwork too. It was a labour of love and a pleasure, grateful to have been trusted with that side of it. Would love to do more small, noisy DIY projects like this — noisy, messy, and made with purpose. Get in touch 🤙

Well Sunday afternoon was a shitter – hanging out in Manchester with @whatwhitterssaw and came back to find the van had been broken into. Loads of stuff stolen, including Whit’s luggage and her iPad with all her illustration work on it. Police did fuck all. Absolutely gutting.
Despite the stress we got to see one of my all-time favourite bands from my youth @underoathband who absolutely ripped. Exactly the kind of catharsis I didn’t know I needed.
Still feeling heavy about what was lost, but grateful for the reminder that great company and great music really can pull you out.
