Roasters' Challenge is around the corner, so it's a good time to reminisce our last year's success.
We don't make a fuss about ourselves, and that's been pointed out to us many times, but we are very proud of our victory. We have so many excellent roasters in Finland, it is not an easy task to compete against them!

A new addition to our line up â¨
This gesha lot by Franky Hoyos is crafted with a process he has developed at his farm El Encanto. It consists of different fermentation processes as well as pulping and washing the beans.
Weâve tweaked the roasting profile for a couple of weeks to find the spot where the flavors, sweetness, and acidity are balanced.
From this lot we found notes of rosehip, floral, green tea & red currant.

Roast Fest is a new event for everyone who likes coffee. It brings many of the Finland's coolest coffee roasteries under the same roof for one day in October.
What you can expect? Lots of different coffees from different roasteries and some other fun that @helsinkicoffeeweek has planned for you.

ICED POUROVER w/ Ethiopian Gotiti đ§đ§
It's not particularly warm yet, but the sun is out so better grab your iced coffees before it's winter again.
We tried how our new Ethiopian Gotiti suits iced flash brews - turns out pretty well!
Here's a simple iced pourover recipe:
â 15g coffee for a bit lighter brew, 16g for fuller body
đ§ 100g ice
đ§ 150g water 93°C
đż Blooming + 3 pours, total brew time ~2min
đ Add a slice of lemon or bergamot (even better) for serving ((optional))
