What a pleasure to play a disgusting villain such as Doctor Newbury, and how wonderful to see him through to his bitter end. I was listening to a Jenna Ortega interview talking about humanising characters who appear to have dark motives and I always felt so sorry for his goatification, which was then shocking taking it out of rehearsals to hear the audience laugh.
It was super lovely to return after as Pierre Curie, a really wholesome scene with great company and a lot of cheese.
Mistakes were made. Iβd love to forget my understudy Mr Tumble coming out, but cherish the moment the snacks table became a carpet of Ritz.
