Happy new year!
First day back from the holiday break always has me feeling a little foggy like this little print!!! I made it last fall during my time spent down at @incahootsresidency . When I was there I had plenty of fog blanketed mornings to take in and this was an attempt to explore that fog over Petaluma.
Anyways! I hope to have more time in the studio this year and hopefully I’ll have more little prints like this one to share. Okay Bye!
The middle of last week we returned to reality after a three week residency at @incahootsresidency it was an absolutely wonderful time with some wonderful people in a wonderful place. It felt great to fall back into my print practice. So happy! So thankful!
Ever wondered what it looks like to be run over by a 50 pound dog? No speed check, no fear, no remorse. My phone paused the recording as an attempt to protect my pride and dignity.
No dogs were hurt in this recording.
He did it to me.
It’s his fault not mine.
He attacked me.
Os update: Dude had a rough weekend.
On the 5th after we happily found out fireworks aren’t much of a bother to him we woke up to a mellow guy who was profusely drooling. This concerned us but didn’t think of anything more than a stomach ache. After an urgent care visit and two rounds of X-rays they found a blockage in his stomach that he was unable to pass. Sunday morning we took him in for emergency surgery. The procedure went well where they found a mysterious plushy toy which we hadn’t ever seen before..
He’s home now and healing up but very sad to be back in a cone. Who knows how long the mystery toy was bobbling around in him but happy it is out.
Picked up my little group of prints from the Proof exhibition on Monday. Sad it’s over but I’m humbled and honored to have shown with the amazing printmakers in the show. Thanks to all who helped put this thing together and to all who came out to see it with their eyes balls.
