Photographing Samode Haveli became one of those projects I kept thinking about, even after I left.
There’s a certain stillness here. Courtyards that hold the light differently, hand-painted walls filled with details you only notice if you slow down, and quiet corners that feel almost untouched by time.
I kept going back to the murals, especially the hidden birds woven into them, and the way the space unfolds almost like a maze, one passage leading softly into another.
My time here was brief, especially compared to the centuries this place has seen, but it felt like stepping into something far more enduring.
