Come to our free zoom IN SESSION: Networking in Animation 11 March 2026
Networking is something that creatives are always told to do but it can seem intimidating and unrealistically hard to people entering the professional space.
Networking in Animation is a conversation about how to approach this potentially scary career skill; breaking it down, talking about barriers and discussing the best ways to approach it in a way that feels authentic and meaningful.
In this conversation, Samantha Moore (Head of Programme, Animation MA) and Bunny Schendler (Introduction to Animation: Contexts and Process Course Leader), will speak with recent Animation RCA graduate Nour Khamis from @roadragestudio and Animator and Director Louis Hudson from Dice Productions + @overlapsocial ) about how they have built thriving communities and how these have developed into great opportunities in the world of animation.

Tricky Women/Tricky Realities @trickywomen will present two of our films at Luxembourg City Film Festival. ‘The Debutante’ by Elizabeth Hobbs @hobbslizzy and ‘Bloomers’ by Samantha Moore @sammooreanimate will both feature in Tricky Women’s ‘Unravel’ programme at 14:30 on Sunday 15 March 2026.
The programme copy reads: “‘Unravel’ reveals patriarchal entanglements through animation. Using wool, threads, fabric and 70mm film, it transforms oppression.”
The screening will take place at Ciné Utopia in Luxembourg – free tickets and more information about the event are available through the link in our bio.

I'm so chuffed that my film Treasure (2021) has been chosen to be screened by Virgin Atlantic as part of their in-flight Dementia-friendly screening package of short films. The heroic Nuala at Women Over 50 Film Festival has curated the package and there are some real gems.
Treasure was produced by Abigail Addison at Animate Projects for Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery and BFI Network. Music by Elizabeth Purnell.
