This year taught me patience, discernment, and self trust. I became aware of how I attracted people who couldn’t show up honestly. People asked for closeness and when getting it, it was all of a sudden too much. “Too available, too demanding, too sensitive..” but I was clear, present, and willing to meet others where they said they were.
I learned that consistency can feel demanding to those who aren’t ready for depth, and that availability is only a gift when it’s reciprocated.
This was a year of shedding - very much a Year of the Snake. Letting old skins fall away - outdated dynamics, blurred boundaries, people who felt close but couldn’t hold closeness when it became real. What left did so to make space, not to punish.
Some years are for building. Some are for shedding. This one did both.
What fell away wasn’t meant to follow me forward. Ending this year clear, quiet and strong - more rooted in who I am and no longer questioning the parts of me that are honest, intentional, and open-hearted.
Grateful for the lessons. Closing a chapter that taught me who I am - and who I am NOT. Ready for what’s next.
Trust that wherever you are, that’s exactly where you should be ! 🤍
