After 6 years of Amplify.link aka Amplify aka AmplifyWorld, and 9 years since I came up with the initial Amplify.link idea, last Friday I left the company I founded, built and sold.
What started as a simple idea, helping artists build deeper relationships with their fans, get more streams and earn more cash from their music, became something I have spent my workdays on since officially launching Amplify.link back in 2019.
There’s been many many highlights over the years, from growing the platform to 100k users by 2021, it being acquired in early 2022, writing a weekly newsletter about the music industry and technology which grew to 50k subscribers, partnering with some of the world’s most interesting tech and music companies, as well as some of my favourite artists using the platform we built, and last but not least, meeting so many cool and interesting people along the way.
I’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has been part of the Amplify.link journey, especially my former business partner and our tech lead, this wouldn’t have been possible without us working those long hours as a team.
I’m really hyped about what’s next…
As some of you may have seen, I have relaunched our creative agency
@weareloudd which is already flying. I am also launching a new web development company BuiltByHumans™️which is aiming to produce the best looking human-made websites in the world.
Not forgetting my biggest passion project
@reloadsound where we will continue to provide even more events, even more sets, even more music and even more vibes! 🌐
If anyone wants to work on a project with us for either business, hit me up. We have some availability over the coming months, but our time is filling up fast.
Onto the next one!
