14/05/26 - Aaron Seeber Masterclass
Join us on the 14th of May for a masterclass with Aaron Seeber. The masterclass will be open to all jazz musicians (not just drummers), who will be invited to play and receive practical feedback. There will also be a Q&A session.
Aaron Seeber is a drummer based out of Astoria, Queens. He has toured internationally and nationally with Warren Wolf, Ben Paterson, Eric Reed, The New York Voices, and Stella Cole. He performs regularly in New York with Eric Alexander, Mike Ledonne, Grant Stewart, Gary Smulyan, Johnny O’Neal, David Hazeltine, and many others.
Aaron grew up in Washington DC, learning to play from Jazz masters such as Butch Warren, Freddie Redd, Buck Hill, Paul Carr and Chuck Redd. He recently released his debut record, First Move (feat. Warren Wolf, Tim Green, Sullivan Fortner, Ugonna Okegwo) on Cellar Live Records. Aaron is a Professor of Music at The State University of New York at Purchase College.

Marta Duran Quartet - 15/04/26
Marta Duran is a saxophonist and composer from Barcelona. Her compositions and unique musical voice are showcased on her debut album ‘Shine’ which was released in 2024. With a wide range of influences beyond jazz, she is currently a member of the Orquestra Àrab de Barcelona, and has recently worked with pop artists Leon Guallart and Vance Joy.
Her rhythm section will be made up of Adrià Claramunt, Sam Davies, and Conor Murray: experienced players busy on the UK and Spanish jazz scenes respectively.
The band will play a mixture of original material and music from the American jazz tradition.
