This year started with one of the coolest opportunities I’ve ever had. Getting to work with monster trucks has been a childhood dream come true, and I’ve been having an absolute blast.
Over the last few months I’ve been in 8 cities across 4 countries, playing to tens of thousands of fans and have had the pleasure of meeting, working with, and getting to know some incredible people along the way.
I’ve been pretty bad at sharing any of it, but I’m working on that. So here’s another phone dump while I try to get caught up.
Trying to stop letting this stupid little app cause me so much anxiety and just start posting shit again, so here’s my first phone dump on my account in probably over five years 🤠
@riversidechattanooga is always good for the soul. My favorite car show of the year lining up with my only weekend stateside for an entire month just felt like fate, and I needed it more than I thought.
The weekend started off rough, but thanks to my wonderful friends and incredible family, it was the best I’ve had this year so far, which is saying a lot. I’m forever grateful for the opportunity to continue chasing my dreams day in and day out, but even more so for the people that help me do so.
Here’s a small highlight reel more for me than anything, I need to remind myself that I do this for the memories. But if you made it this far, thanks for stopping by, and hopefully there will be more to come soon. I’ll be editing on planes all day tomorrow 🫡
I shot mostly film this weekend but broke out the J5 for sunset while everyone was rolling out Saturday evening and I kinda can’t believe some of the shots I got from that little thing. Damn near straight out of camera. I’ll make a better post @riversidechattanooga post once I get my film processed but here’s one of my favorite shots enjoying golden hour in the pavilion with @samigelii

First of a few @riversidechattanooga post. This weekend was nothing short of amazing ,and was needed more than I could have ever thought. Being in the company of so many awesome people at this event was truly medicine for my soul. This is the only non drifting automotive event that we will forever be in attendance of if possible. After tons of hours and countless friends helping out the Mark II made it and is looking more and more to my standards. If you told me even six months ago that I’d be ringing in the New Year in another country, I’d say you’re delusional. But there I was last night, in Manchester, England. Celebrating the end of an epic and exhausting year entirely on my own, yet surrounded by thousands of people doing the same. As I wandered through the streets and waded through the crowds, I couldn’t help but think of what an insane opportunity it was to get to experience something like this.
As someone who truly never thought they’d live to see 30, I really cannot believe how my life has panned out over the last few years. For a long time, survival was the only goal. I never really planned for after. It’s impossible to know what the future may hold, but I’m certainly glad I’ve decided to stick around to find out.
If last year taught me anything, it’s that survival isn’t the finish line. Sometimes it’s just the beginning. Keep on keeping on friends. Turns out, sticking around may open doors that you never planned for. 💖
I recently took a month away from social media because I realized I don’t have the healthiest relationship with it, and that’s a really hard thing to admit when it’s part of your job. For a long time, I tied the value of my work (and myself) to little numbers on a screen and whether or not I still felt relevant in my world, which is very a dangerous game.
After a few months of therapy, a new gig, and a new antidepressant that actually seems to be helping, my perspective is starting to shift. I’m realizing my life’s work is about much more than just what happens at the racetrack, and I don’t need to be producing top tier content all the time just to be allowed to exist here.
I believe I’m close to reaching my 10,000 hours behind the camera, and I want to get back to sharing more of the everyday moments again. Less pressure, more life. So here’s a little bit of what life has looked like lately. I hope yours has felt just as special. 💖
Photographing @importalliance at @ncmmsp hit me in a way I didn’t expect. I’ve never seen the hill over the sinkhole filled with spectators before, and I feel like it really helped illustrate the scale of this facility. With drifting still being so new to this track, seeing it come alive like that was honestly kind of surreal.
As always, what really got me was the in-between moments. Bumping into a few friends, catching little moments in the paddock…it felt like a callback to the early days when this whole scene felt smaller, simpler, and somehow even more magical. Days like this remind me why I keep showing up with a camera, with a crew of close friends, and with a little bit of heart still wrapped up in all of this.

Been a long while since I did a static shoot of a car and it was nice to remember that I can still do the thing! Would love to knock a few more out before the snow hits again, hit me up!
