Hi 👋🏻 Welcome to my Bookstagram! My name is Sam and I am a 33-year-old mom of 3. I have a 4-year-old and 2-year old twins. I stay at home with my boys and work part-time with a riverboat company in Saint Paul, MN.
When I’m not chasing my boys, I’m usually reading or crafting. My favorite genres are romantasy/fantasy and romance. Lately I’ve been into making book nooks. I also enjoy building Lego sets. If I’m not busy reading, I have to be doing something with my hands.
I am a mental health advocate with @mentalhealthmn and @ownyourstigma . I have spoken at the MN State Capitol, been a part of press conferences, and have been in the newspaper for my advocacy. I have depression, anxiety, PTSD and ADHD. I am working hard to break down the stigma that comes with mental illness.
I am a huge family person and am very close with mine. My partner and I love taking new adventures together (with and without the kids). We have a dog named Cinder who loves to cuddle with me while I read.

Here are a few of mine! I have a of reading goals. I’m trying to read more and be in my phone less. It’s important for me to model this behavior for my kids and show them how reading is fun.
