One of my favorite activities this year was reading Project Hail Mary to my 8 & 10 year old girls. Stopping every few paragraphs to ask them what they thought would happen next... Why they thought what was happening was happening... And discussing everything from relativistic time dilation to biochemistry.
Kept them up late last night for an early screening of the movie. Had to drive the youngest to school late this morning. Totally worth it.

“Cadabra” comes from the Aramaic phrase behind abra-cadabra — “create as I say.”
Fitting, because most of this game was built by AI coding agents while I supervised from my phone.
