i had written this prose by trying, as much as possible, to suspend my self-control while thinking about the concept of “ölübütün,” a term i frequently use and also use to define myself.
the word “ölübütün” is one i coined by merging the title of ece ayhan’s poem “ölü bütün” into a single form. its literal translation is “death-one”; however, for me, it signifies “a person who, though still alive, has lost their function, hollowed out from within; someone who has internalized that death can surface at any moment in life.”

Efe Süner (Efes) was born and raised in İzmir. He plays bass in Tuzla, a post-punk band founded in 2022, and also hosts a radio show called Hengâme at ITU (Istanbul Technical University), alongside working as a selector.
KRUTZO is a darkwave music producer who has been deeply engaged for over seven years with post-punk, its philosophy and the genres it has illuminated along the way. hiçbir zaman sahici bir şekilde dans eden//edebilen bir çocuk olamadım. vücudumu hareket ettiren kişinin ben olduğumu algılıyor olmam önemli değildi, sanki ona gücü ileten kişi ben değildim her kıpırdayışta. inanın bana aslında kaskatı olmayı tercih ederdim ama onu bile hiçbir zaman beceremedim. bu hal yıllar boyu böyle ilerleyedurdu DAF’ı ilk kez duyana dek. gabi’nin “alle gegen alle” diyerek bana dans etmem gerekiyormuşçasına sayıklayan vokalleri, vücuduma gereken elektriği veren ve devrede titreştikçe zihnimde gezinen voltaj ve kafama bir çekiç gibi inen robert tarafından çalınmış o davullar; tümü ve dahası bedenimin kontrolünü bana geri verdi. artık ikincil bir düşünceye dahi yer yoktu, arabayı süren kişi bendim.
altı yıl evvel gabi’yi kaybettiğimizde çok üzülmüştüm. yapılabilecek en güzel şeyi en güzel şekilde yapan efsanenin yeryüzünü geride bırakması benim için çok çarpıcıydı. neyse ki onun sonsuza karıştığını biliyorum.
