Dinner stop at Mediterranean Samdan in Cresskill, NJ. 🧿🍊 Drinks 🍹 The cocktails were tropical and unique in the best possible way. The Shala offered a semi-creamy coconut taste with berry that mixed perfectly together! The Paradise was a strong citrus with a soft coconut finish, probably the best drink of the night. The Turkish Coffee Martini had that espresso martini taste but smoother, a little more mellow, and not overly sweet. Apps The bread was DELICIOUS - fresh out of the oven, soft and steamy on the inside with a perfect outer crunch. The fried calamari was crisp, with a house sauce that was thick yet creamy. The zucchini and eggplant chips were super seasoned — refreshing, crunchy, and paired with a cold, traditional tzatziki that mixed perfectly 🥒 Entrees 🍽️ Entrees came out hot and full of flavor. The Special Creamy Chicken was insanely good — tender chicken, sweet red peppers, and onions all wrapped in a rich garlic white wine sauce HIGHLY recommend!! The Adana kebab had that classic smoky lamb spice, juicy with a great taste. Even the rice was amazing….fluffy, buttery, and super well seasoned on its own. (i’m picky with my rice and this was one of the best i’ve had!!)
