Mission complete. China to Turkey by bike!
This one's for the people 🫶🏼
No scenery, no outstanding meal, mountain pass or mindblowing sunset can even come close to the moments shared with all the beautiful humans that took part in this crazy ride.
Everyone played their role in enriching our caravan's experience, from the core riders who rode all the way, to our local guides full of stories, to the mama selling bread in a Uzbek market and the team behind the scenes, I love you all!
I feel proud of the growth and lessons I've learned leading this expedition, from facing the everyday puzzles and adversity, to celebrating the highs with the elite team of staff that surrounded me. I can't thank them enough for their efforts, energy and solidarity. Just like travelling with a group of friends! And to think we can call this work!
It felt like a whole life's worth of emotions and memories condensed into 4 months, thanks to this big international family who journeyed West on the Silk Road.
Time to slow down, let everything sink in and keep the winning streak going 🪽

Transitions have become an exercise of fine tuning where I invest my energy. Coming back to Quebec is all about the people, especially in november lol. There is a depth to these relationships I simply can't replicate on the other side of the world and it's perfect that way.
Back in Barcelona now, where I feel most at home these days and with the intention of growing deeper roots and a build base that allows me to make this exhilarating nomad lifestyle sustainable.
Winning streak is on a roll 🪽
Merci QC! See you when it's warmer x
Only now does the real satisfaction really sink in. I tend to dive very passionately into projects and I was locked in a flow state for all this time, working relentlessly on every step, back to back. It was all worth it!
A lot of you have been asking me about the building process, so I'll soon be sharing videos on how I did it, just like last year's wooden bike build. Stay tuned!
I'm planning another funky build this winter that will test my woodworking skills, can you guess what?

One day, I'll build a house just like this. I feel like all of the woodworking projects and experiments I've done over the years have been building up to a bigger project where I bring all the techniques I've learned and all the ideas I've been inspired by around the world into a masterpiece I'll be able to call home
Now it's day 6 of bikepacking across South Korea and Japan and my camera roll is already full of funky wood joinery, curved roofs and the most delicate and beautiful traditional home designs.

In today’s world, one of the clearest measures of a city’s success is how well cars, cyclists, and pedestrians can coexist in harmony.
Intuitively, my appreciation of a city is very often tied to that. Seoul and South Korea as a whole have taken this to the next level!
Another one of these places that leaves me thinking it'd be fun to live there for a bit!
Couple fun weeks in Seoul before we hit the road cycling East
Wheels are turning
Can't stop winning🪽

just out here letting the wood work in the curves it would naturally want to grow into
Every woodworking project I do, I integrate new techniques I hadn't tried before or build thing for the first time. Still can't decide what's my favorite, but I'm having fun along the way.
Wrapping it up in part 3
Here's the thing with woodworking, once you decide to ditch the straight lines and angles and work with curves, you know every step will take 10x the time, but the results are always worth it.
My skateboard was getting old and I like to get around the city on a cruiser, so I though I could just built my new one instead of buying.
Massive credits to @handydandy_brandy for the inspiration on the curved checkered pattern and execution, check out her cutting boards!
Trying out some new woods here in Spain, the selection is very different from Canada, so I'm adapting to what's available.
Check out part 2!

the Canadian in me can only feel gratitude for riding in short sleeves in March, what a treat
Super stoked to ride in style with the top kits in the game from @cafeducycliste for my 2026 cycling projects. I've had my eye on their gear for a loooong time, so it feels like full circle to now be part of the family🤝 I guess Quebec and France can get along after all eh!
The real value in this Barcelona marathon week wasn't in how fast or slow we all ran, it was in sharing this beautiful week all together and connecting around pushing our own limits in parallel during the race!
Here's to old friends that fly across the world to reconnect and to new friends joining the party ❤️
We're busy winning out here
