Special day. The release of the musical short, in its entirety - The Nomad’s Dream. A lot of time spent DREAMING, talking, planning and finally doing to make this all a reality. And a lot of great people helped in bringing it to life. We hoped to make something that would enlighten the music, help it come alive in new ways and help tell @berhana ‘s beautiful story, history and lineage. Go watch it and listen to the brand spanking new album (the first ever that we creative directed!) which of course without, this would have never been made.

My grandmother used to drive her ‘65 convertible corvette to school everyday where she worked as a middle school principal. She died before I was born and the car has been passed down from my mother to me. Knowing I couldn’t give it the care it needed, I sold it and used the funds to make something Julia and I knew needed to exist. Something I might have shown my grandmother to express who I was, just like she did with her car. Like an angel from the distant clouds Deanna Gibson appeared and Wiggle Room was made. Now it’s premiering tomorrow at the Sundance 2021 festival and I know my grandmother would be proud.
