a peek into my writing/recording process: i like to “brain” the drums on certain songs, which is where i record the drum parts over nothing— i’ll play along to the song in my head, and then layer piano and bass over that recording (which you hear in this audio). it’s been a fun way to experiment with the dynamics of the song. also yes i know my drum faces are silly 🐼 #newmusic #comingsoon
HAPPY NAKED DAY! on this day one year ago, we recorded a 12-song album in one night, live in my basement, which would eventually be dubbed “Naked,” and become the first record i ever put out. the prospect of releasing these raw, untouched performances was initially terrifying and wildly vulnerable, but taking on the challenge absolutely changed my life; giving me wholly new perspectives on music production, performance, and my own capabilities. forever proud of my team proud and the beautiful opus we made ❤️💛💙 go watch Naked on YouTube/vimeo and stream the album!
